India, November 05, 2011: But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
- Matthew 10:33
Here is yet another instance of what the “Christian” world finds objectionable, but ignores and can do nothing about. There are many lessons we can learn from Islam and Muslims? The movie released yesterday internationally – A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas – is one we need to speak out against, not just since it mocks Jesus / the clergy or trivialises the faith, but for the degrading effect such movies have on society. Thank God for India, where pray our family and moral values are still comparatively intact. May the LORD keep it so.
Rather we often find such movies released with Adult Censorship and justified by many liberal ”Christians” seeing it as a comedy/spook. As a reason of such compromises, we have reached a state where Christianity & Christians is treated in a shoddy manner, unlike other faiths, which the media dare not touch and treats them with kid gloves. The worst though is yet to come… The least we can do is PRAY?
The highlights of “A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas” include scenes where:
- One of the lead actors punches a bishop
- Naked lesbian nuns are shown caressing each other in a shower
- Real life homosexual Neil Patrick Harris (playing himself) recounts going to heaven (portrayed as a nightclub) where he sits with two topless women who fondle him. Jesus in the bar sees this & calls his “daddy” to get Harris kicked out of the club. Harris then spews an obscenity at Jesus
- Three priests have a pillow fight with a young boy in a dark place known as the altar boy room—they are shown racing after him
- The Virgin Mary is trashed.
- Little kids (babies) are shown high on cocaine, etc.
- Chock full of sex, pot, penis, fecal material, and urine “jokes” in 3D flying/splashed around.
Bill Donahue of the Catholic League says -
” As usual, the movie has its apologists. For example, the Washington Post says the film “makes fun of everyone under the sun—Jews, blacks, gays, Koreans, Indians, Mexicans, nuns, Santa, children and Jesus Christ….” Nice to know that mocking ethnic groups is identical to mocking Jesus. But if equality were really being practiced, why did other religious figures (prophets/gods) get a pass? It is interesting to note that the actor who plays Kumar (Kal Penn) recently served in the Obama administration (Special Assistant to the President) as Associate Director in the Office of Public Liaison. Is that where he perfected his Christian-bashing skills?
Debbie Schlussel points out that -
” You should remember that Michigan taxpayers financed 42% of this absolute abomination of a movie through the Michigan Film Tax Credit (the movie was shot in Michigan). Jesus in a bar hanging out with topless women in lingerie – that’s some of the stuff in this movie that you’ll never see with Islamic clerics, imams. Hollywood won’t touch them. No topless lesbian scenes with Muslim women or Islamic clerics chasing after imams. I laughed once. It’s simply disgusting and filthy with no humor. And you know what that means: it’ll be a huge hit. A scene in which we’re shown a guy’s penis frozen to a pole on the big screen–this is supposed to be funny? Get it? They’re mocking the kid’s tongue stuck to the pole in “A Christmas Story”.
Finally, here is another biblical quote that The CSF would like to draw your attention to:
Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God.
- Luke 12:10
